How to use LED Lekos Profile Light/Ellipsoidal Spot Light?
Profile lights design lighting cutting shutter or blades, usually feature adjustable shutters or blades that allow for precise shaping of the light beam, enabling lighting designers to create distinct patterns or shapes on the stage or set. They are commonly used for key lighting, highlighting actors or performers, as well as for creating dramatic effects through controlled illumination. pls take a look at left video of lighting cutting effect for your reference.
Using a profile light involves several steps to ensure proper setup and operation. Here's a general guide:
Mounting: Begin by securely mounting the profile light in the desired position. This could be on a lighting stand, a lighting grid, or any other appropriate fixture depending on the specific setup.
Powering On: Connect the profile light to a power source using the appropriate cables and connectors. Ensure that the power source matches the specifications of the light fixture to avoid any damage.
Lens angle: 19°/ 26°/ 36°/50° for option, which depends on what you bought. for example, when you bought 19°,which is 19°.
Shaping the Beam: If the profile light is equipped with adjustable shutters or blades, use them to shape the light beam according to your requirements. Position the shutters to define the edges of the illuminated area and create the desired shapes or patterns.
Positioning: Aim the profile light at the subject or area you want to illuminate. Use the fixture's pan and tilt adjustments to precisely position the light beam as needed. Take into account factors such as the angle, distance, and height to achieve the desired lighting effect.
Intensity Control: Adjust the intensity of the profile light to achieve the desired level of brightness. Most lights come with dimming controls that allow you to increase or decrease the output as required.
Color Temperature: mono color 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, 5600K for option, bit-color 3200k+5600k, or 2700+6500k for option, or RGBW 4in1/ RGBL 4in1 for option. If the profile light has adjustable color temperature or color filters, adjust them to achieve the desired color rendition. This is particularly useful for creating mood or atmosphere in theatrical or cinematic lighting setups.
Test and Adjust: Once everything is set up, test the profile light to ensure that it is functioning correctly and producing the desired lighting effect. Make any necessary adjustments to shape, position, intensity, or color temperature until you achieve the desired result.
Safety Precautions: Always follow safety guidelines when using profile lights, including proper handling of hot fixtures, securing cables to prevent tripping hazards, and ensuring adequate ventilation to prevent overheating.
